Visual Artist

ALEN SEBASTIAN

For the past eight years, painting has been more than a skill—it’s a conversation between my inner dreamer and critic. Balancing imagination with self-doubt is challenging, but I’ve come to embrace this dynamic. It compels me to explore, refine, and express emotions beyond words.

This artistic journey has deepened my understanding of color, form, and technique, while also offering profound self-discovery. Each brushstroke reveals new perspectives and untold stories. Art has become my lens to interpret the world, capturing feelings and narratives that words often fail to convey.

Through this process, I’ve learned that creativity thrives in the tension between aspiration and doubt. It’s in this space that my most authentic expressions emerge. I’m excited to share this evolving vision with you.

My Canvas

I focus on oil painting and abstract themes.

While I’ve explored various artistic mediums, traditional painting remains my most intimate form of expression. The tactile nature of brushwork and the deliberate pace it demands ground me, allowing for a deeper connection between my inner world and the canvas. Each stroke becomes a reflection of my thoughts and emotions, making every piece a personal narrative.

Interestingly, abstract art offers me a freer avenue to convey feelings. Without the confines of realism, I can focus on emotion, movement, and mood. This openness invites both me and the viewer to interpret the work individually, fostering a unique, intuitive connection. Abstract art, by its nature, encourages personal engagement, allowing each person to find their own meaning within the piece.

In embracing abstraction, I find a balance between control and spontaneity, structure and freedom. It’s a space where I can explore the depths of emotion and invite others to do the same, creating a shared yet personal experience through art.

Commissions

Two slots per month

To ensure each artwork is crafted with meticulous attention and upholds the highest quality, I accept only two commission slots per month. This focused approach allows me to dedicate ample time to each piece, ensuring it authentically reflects your vision.

Given the limited availability, I recommend reaching out early to secure a slot, as they tend to fill quickly. Once the monthly slots are booked, additional requests will be placed on a waitlist for the following month.

This system ensures a balanced workflow, allowing me to maintain the integrity of each creation while providing clients with personalized attention. Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated as we collaborate to bring your artistic vision to life.
